“4-H has been the catalyst that sparked my interest in community service and civic engagement. It was my time in 4-H where I learned how to become an effective leader and change agent in my community. Through programs like 4-H Capitol Experience, I gained a passion for politics, which led me to pursue a career in public service. 4-H taught me important professional and personal skills that I use every day. My 4-H involvement instilled in me that everyone can have an impact on government on all levels, regardless of age or background.”
