About State 4-H Awards
Each year approximately 100 State 4-H Award delegates participate in the Michigan State 4-H Awards Program. State winners are selected during the 4-H Awards Program, held at MSU during 4-H Exploration Days in June. Winners are announced at the Michigan 4-H State Awards Recognition Celebration.
Gifts to the State 4-H Awards Program supports 4-H youth leadership development and recognition by:
- Providing monetary awards to both the senior and junior 4-H State Award winners for that award area.
- Supporting the entire award area delegation through participating in the 4-H State Awards Program, interviews, leadership development and 4-H State Awards Recognition Celebration.
Gold Sponsors
- A gift of $750 will provide full sponsorship (Gold Sponsor) of an award area.
Gold sponsors receive exclusive sponsorship of the award category with the following benefits:
- Recognition at the awards program.
- Recognition in the Michigan 4-H Foundation’s Clover Citation Program.
- Invitation to the Michigan 4-H Foundation Annual Membership Meeting.
