From Oct. 9-20, 2019 Tractor Supply Company (TSC) customers across the nation will have the option to purchase a $1 clover at the store checkouts. Funds will support county, state and national 4-H programming.

“The Paper Clover fundraiser is a significant part of Tractor Supply Company’s support of 4-H programs throughout the communities we serve,” said Christi Korzekwa, vice president, marketing, TSC. “We are proud to be able to provide essential funding to more than 1,000 county 4-H programs. These programs make a positive impact on young people that last a lifetime. The continued success of the Tractor Supply Paper Clover fundraisers demonstrate the importance of our 4-H partnership with our customers, team members and communities.”

The Paper Clover Campaign has taken place in the spring and fall every year since 2010. The spring 2019 Paper Clover, generated nearly $50,000 in contributions from Michigan residents.

“We are very fortunate to have Tractor Supply Co. as a partner for 4-H, not only in Michigan, but across the nation,” said Jacob Decker, state leader for Michigan 4-H Youth Development, MSU Extension. “The funds raised from TSC campaigns make possible a myriad of experiences for our youth in Michigan and for that we are very grateful.”

The Paper Clover Fundraiser raises and supports county 4-H programs with seventy percent of the funds raised going directly to their programs. 10 percent supports the 4-H volunteer and teen leadership workshops; 5 percent goes to state 4-H programs and 5 percent will go to the Michigan 4-H Foundation and the remaining 10 percent to National 4-H Council for underwriting the cost of the program.
