4-H provided me with fundamental leadership skills that serve me well to this day. Public speaking, a commitment to the local community, and a focus on youth development were all taught to me early in my 4-H experience. 4-H provided lessons that serve as foundation values for me in daily lifehard work, individual responsibility and family. 4-H continues to serve and provide a wonderful legacy to future generations of Michigans youth.

Because of 4-H, I get to travel to places I may not otherwise visit. In our travel club, we visit different places, see new sites, experience different ways to travel, and learn about new cultures. Because of 4-H, I got a passport!
