About State 4-H Awards
Each year approximately 100 State 4-H Award delegates participate in the Michigan State 4-H Awards Program. State winners are selected during the 4-H Awards Program, held at MSU during 4-H Exploration Days in June. Winners are announced at the Michigan 4-H State Awards Recognition Celebration.
Gifts to the State 4-H Awards Program supports 4-H youth leadership development and recognition by:
- Providing monetary awards to both the senior and junior 4-H State Award winners for that award area.
- Supporting the entire award area delegation through participating in the 4-H State Awards Program, interviews, leadership development and 4-H State Awards Recognition Celebration.
Gold Sponsors
- A gift of $750 will provide full sponsorship (Gold Sponsor) of an award area.
Gold sponsors receive exclusive sponsorship of the award category with the following benefits:
- Printed recognition in the awards program.
- Invitation to present the award on stage with both the senior and junior award delegates.
- Invited to attend the recognition celebration to be engaged in discussions with 4-H youth.
- Recognition in the Michigan 4-H Foundation’s annual report.
If a full sponsorship gift is not feasible at this time, your support at any level makes a difference for Michigan 4‑H youth!
However, please understand that only gold sponsors are invited to present the award and be engaged with youth on the day of the event. Additional contributions will only be listed in the event program and not receive the benefits listed above.
