“4-H provided me with fundamental leadership skills that serve me well to this day. Public speaking, a commitment to the local community, and a focus on youth development were all taught to me early in my 4-H experience. 4-H provided lessons that serve as foundation values for me in daily life—hard work, individual responsibility and family. 4-H continues to serve and provide a wonderful legacy to future generations of Michigan’s youth.”
